The surroundings were quiet. It was embarrassing to know where the screams from earlier had gone. The tinnitus still lingered in their ears, but everyone knew that it was just the aftereffects of the accident.

The first to speak was an exhausted Henry.

“When will that kid listen to us?”

Mark coughed in vain at the unusually hushed voice. After a moment, he gave the answer that everyone knew.

“That day will never come, Henry.”

“Fuck!”

Immediately, Henry swore and tore at his hair. This time, he wasn’t the only one who was completely devastated. Not only Josh’s team, but also the existing security team was in shambles. It was common for suits to be torn here and there, and some people lost their shoes, some almost died because their ties were grabbed, and others almost got crushed to death. They barely made it back to the filming set after hurriedly escaping from the event where the chaos had broken out. Some of the injured bodyguards went straight to the hospital, and the rest received treatment from the medical staff waiting at the filming set.

After a quick checkup, Josh and his group sat in a circle and were silent for a while. Seth, who had been left at the filming set, was silent for a moment after seeing the members who had returned in a tattered state. Then he comforted Isaac by patting his shoulder a couple of times.

Everyone was just sighing, and Laura came out after a knock.

“Excuse me for a moment, Josh?”
