Well, before this, when I used the skill [Salt] to create the Sacred Salt Armor, I’d say something similar. But the Sacred Salt Armor was more like partial armor made of rock salt. So, it felt more like equipping something, and a fitting chant would be something like, “Sacred Salt Armor, Equip! Salt Setter!” or something along those lines.

But for an otaku like me, transformation is an endless romance.

Thus, I’ve been experimenting daily, trying to achieve a cool transformation. And finally, I’ve managed to pull off one that’s somewhat satisfying.

“Alright, here we go! Hmm… Chakra On, Aura Henshin!!”

Yeah, the reason I’m half-naked goes without saying—it’s because the transformation is into the Bug King Suit. Well, the fact that I have to be half-naked before transforming is a problem I’ll need to solve in the future.

Next, from the pose, I shift into an upright stance and use aura-powered telekinesis to levitate my body.

It’s basically telekinetic levitation. But using aura-powered telekinesis to float myself is incredibly inefficient, and doing this regularly would be pretty impractical.

However, a transformation has to look cool…

Also, if I’m not floating slightly off the ground when the leg parts attach, I’d have to awkwardly stick my legs out like I’m putting on pants. Hmm, that would look really uncool. During a transformation, I want to stand almost upright and elegantly boop into the suit.

So, a certain amount of height is absolutely necessary.

And, like a reused transformation sequence, it’s ideal for all the parts to attach at roughly the same time. Yes, that’s what makes a cool transformation. The way the parts flow and attach seamlessly is the essence of transformation.

That’s why, here, I’m not just using aura-powered telekinesis but also the skill [Slime].

If I try to move the suit parts with telekinesis while floating, the strain of multitasking would make my brain’s blood vessels feel like they’re about to burst. So, by using the skill [Slime], I can reduce that strain.

At the same time as I float, I cover my body with slime, extending it from my body to pick up the corresponding parts.

This way, the slime acts as a guide beacon for each part, making it far easier to control than using telekinesis alone. Think of it like the glowing lines that connect combining mecha.

And I’ve further modified the Bug King Suit itself, simplifying the segmentation to make it easier to equip during transformation.

Hmm, how should I describe this? Basically, I reduced the number of segmented parts, but for cylindrical structures like the arms and legs, I added several vertical slits to keep them connected.

This allows the arms and legs to attach almost as a single piece. I racked my brain to figure out how to cut the parts without losing strength or elasticity. But thanks to that effort, the parts now assemble incredibly smoothly.

Finally, the mask unfolds to cover my head, and I channel magic into the Bug King Suit enveloping my body, making it fit perfectly.

“Fshururuu~… Hmm, it took about 8 seconds. It’s a bit too long to call it a proper henshin… but well, this is what I’ve got. I’m doing it all manually, after all.”

If I had access to alien super-science that could teleport the transformation suit or if I were a cyborg who could alter my body itself, I could probably shorten the time. But even as it is, I’d say I’ve achieved a pretty decent time.

I move my body to check if there are any issues with the aura-telekinesis transformation and the Bug King Suit. I start by rotating my wrists, shoulders, and neck, then throw a few punches and kicks.

“Hmm, smooth, smooth. No problems here.”

“Egetsu-saaan~! Lunch is ready~!”

In the garden, the massive bones of a super-giant boar gleam white under the sunlight. The Red Slime cleaned those up too. Great job, really. The tanned hides are piled up in the light van, packed to the brim. Heh, from a distance, it looks like a sales car coming to replace the doormat.

The hides that couldn’t fit are stored in the shed.

“Yeah, most of the meat’s been salted and preserved too.”

Though, since the salt was created with magic, it’ll disappear over time. So, we’ll need to prepare more salt or eat it quickly.

“The house is pretty much sorted now. Right, Grandpa?”

“Yeah, it’s been a big help.”

Ah, that’s good. That was a concern before.

From our perspective, we wanted to hurry and go exterminate goblins and other monsters. But from Grandpa’s perspective, if there were hands available, he wanted help with the farm work and house chores. So, it felt wrong to just leave and head to the mountains.

Grandpa probably thought going to the mountains was just for fun.

“Alright, then shall we head to the mountains to teach those troublesome monkeys a lesson? Is that okay, Grandpa?”

Oh, finally, Grandpa’s given the green light. Now we can head to the mountains without any lingering worries.
