"I wonder how many cities would survive." He muttered. In the past timeline, there were a minimum of 20 fallen cities. Those cities had fallen due to the players' competitiveness with each other and failed to actually improve the city's population overall. 

Without sufficient manpower, it would be impossible to overwhelm the large number of monster waves, followed by the emergence of the Colossus. 

These Colossus were extremely durable and powerful. If it were to be compared to the large-scale raid boss, then it was the equivalent of a toddler versus a full adult. 

"Guild Leader, will our city be fine then?" Zhao Kai, who had been based in Evershade City from the beginning, sat across from him and asked. 

"Our city is also listed as a target by the Colossus. If we fail to defend, then I'll lose all my progress." He continued. His expression was listless, clearly afraid of Evershade City being fallen.
