Despite her flirtatious and seemingly easy going nature, Evelyn was extremely wary of Xu Feng.

'Zyron went offline, which meant he failed PK and KS. PocketAim and Reckoner both failed to stop Cool Wind. Just what kind of ability is this Honorary Elder hiding?' Evelyn wondered silently. 

She dared not make a move unless she was certain of her enemy's ability. 

The information she received also seemed to be inaccurate as well. After all, PocketAim and Reckoner weren't just some average players. They were elite and trained for a ton of situations. 

They were taught to do whatever they could to stall their enemies if the gap was too large and inform their team on what to watch out for.

However, both of them failed to do so. 

Their status screens were also completely darkened, indicating they had been forcefully logged out. Since it was clear that they couldn't possibly revive, their only option was to log out and send the messages in the real world.

That was what Evelyn had in mind until she was informed that the intruder had already advanced so fast to the city's gate. She couldn't allow such an unknown variable into the city and possibly assist the demoness Summoner. 

Amidst her predicament, she suddenly heard the intruder speaking.

"It seems like the situation inside isn't going great." Xu Feng mused. Similar to how Evelyn was analyzing him, it was vice versa for him as well. Had Evelyn acted arrogant and made her move from the start, then Xu Feng suspected that things were definitely going awry.
