“Qingtian, you…” Master Bo was about to say something when his phone suddenly rang.
Upon looking, he saw that it was a call from Bo Jingyan.
He burst into laughter right away.
“It’s from Jingyan…” Master Bo said joyously, “He must be missing you, that’s why he called.”
At the mention of Bo Jingyan’s name, Xia Qingtian’s body stiffened briefly.
Even though she knew Bo Jingyan was on a business trip abroad and couldn’t possibly be present, the mere mention of his name still made her nervous.

Seeing her reaction, Master Bo asked, puzzled, “What’s wrong? Did that rascal Jingyan upset you again?”
“Don’t worry, just tell me the truth, I’ll stand up for you.”

Unable to tell the truth, she made up an excuse, “No, Jingyan didn’t bully me. I just suddenly feel a stomach pain and need use the restroom.”
“Grandpa, I’m going to the toilet. You carry on talking with Jingyan.”
With that, she lifted the hem of her dress and hurried out of the rest room.
Master Bo, left with no choice, picked up the call himself.
Before he could speak, he heard a broadcast announcement that a flight was about to land.
His eyebrows lifted as something dawned on him.
“Jingyan, where are you now?”
Bo Jingyan replied, “A City Airport. I just landed. I don’t think I’ll be able to make it to the opening of the anniversary celebration.”
“No worries, we’ll delay the opening by half an hour, giving you enough time to get from the airport to the hotel,” Master Bo quickly decided.
Originally, he had planned several things for today, not just to unveil Xia Qingtian’s identity, but also to give her a big surprise.
This surprise, of course, involved Bo Jingyan’s cooperation.
Since he had gone on a business trip overseas, he decided to abandon those plans.
But since he’s back, they can stick to the original plan.

He was looking forward to telling Xia Qingtian the good news to make her happy.
